IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE
Gary believes in the strength and vitality of our Suffolk neighborhoods and communities. Our County Executive and Legislature has failed us. In 2017, our county was $2.1 Billion dollars in debt and showing no signs of improvement. In 2019, we are $3.4 Billion dollars in debt and our county is near junk bond status. Fees are hurting our residents because the judgement of our legislature is lacking. We need to become fiscally responsible and accountable, find efficiencies and resources that will not cause a tax burden on our property owners while providing sorely needed help to combat the ever-increasing heroin and opioid use and related deaths in our community and the staggering number of gang-related deaths and activity that affect our quality of life. Gary is THE CHANGE WE NEED. THE VOICE WE DESERVE.

Gary Pollakusky is a born and bred Long Islander and an accomplished business executive with more than 20 years of experience and extensive community service. Gary founded the Rocky Point Sound Beach Chamber of Commerce, is an active member of The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), LICVB, and LILA. Gary serves as a Board Member and Assistant Secretary for the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency (BID), Brookhaven Local Development Corporation (LDC), and has been honored with the Long Island Business News Corporate Citizenship Award for 2016 and Forty Under Forty award for 2017. Gary and his wife Jeanine reside in Rocky Point with their rescue pup, Bailey.
